EdSTART is SIFA´s Educational Software and Technology Application Registry Tool containing listings of RFPs, school software vendors, and vendors’ products. EdSTART is the cornerstone of a community-designed effort to allow schools and states access to the products of educational providers and to best practices that are aligned with SIFA´s vision to "allow schools to better utilize data by implementing technology in a manner that leverages the promise and capabilities of interoperability between disparate applications." EdSTART is truly a place for anyone vested in education to "START."

Since its inception, SIFA has brought together various educational stakeholders and vendors to solve real-world interoperability and data usage challenges. The EdSTART community focuses on providing end users and vendors with accurate and up-to-date information on data initiatives, pK-12 software tools and procurement opportunities for true "solution sharing." EdSTART includes SIF Association members along with non-members in order to provide the most complete information to the education community.
